I'm running a dual monitor configuration on my Media Center PC. The primary monitor is an LG 22" LCD connected via DVI in my office and the secondary is a Samsung 50" Plasma TV connected via a 50ft DVI-HDMI cable. I setup the displays in extended desktop mode and run Media Center in full screen mode on the TV.
My issue is that I constantly have to enable the TV within the ATI Display Manager. How can I force Catalyst Control Center to recognized my TV? It's always plugged, but only gets detected if I turn it on prior to boot. Otherwise I need to enable it manually. It works great but I'm annoyed that I constantly have to do this.
I've tried using only Windows to set this up, using the ATI driver without installing CCC. But I had issues with running Media Center in full screen on the TV, because I need to override the refresh rate to 30hz - something I've only been able to do successfully in Catalyst Control Center.
Any ideas?
