Yeah she was chipped ......... One of them snazzy chips that has a registration # & monitors the animals core temp as well ....... That way as you scan them you get a temp readout & reggo # too...... Which "A" negates the need for a thermometer up the wazoola & "B" temps you to check everything else too :p

I don't really believe thats a go-er to be frank .......... She hated strangers & kept outta their way, she used to stay in the local gardens, & always appeared should you venture out side ....... Should we actually need her for somthing & she wasn't about, ya just had to go down to the school field where there was a clump of trees she used to climb, there she would show herself but not allow you to get close enough to pick her up ..... Then it was a case of telling her to go home & oddly enough, thats exactly what she did, infact she would be there waiting for you when you got back ........

Perhaps she has made friends with somone else & decided to stay there ...... Its a nice thought, but sadly completely out of character for her .....

I'll get some fotos printed up @ wally world & do some flyers ....... Bout all I can do really :(

I've ordered up some photos for flyers, wally world are doin' foto's for like 5p each ......... The dude at the paper shop flat out refused my, will you put a "Lost" flyer in with each of the newspapers one day ........ I phrased the question: "How much would it be for you to ......" & then went on to explain what I was doing ........ But No .......... He got rollocked in the local rag recently as somone who he delivered flyers for (XYZ Plumbers Yadda yad yads) stole cash off a local Oldie ......... So I've contacted the paper who were interested that our (New) Newsagent was being still being unhelpful to the local community ...... I sent them a foto too & did a interview over the fone ;) ........ So wiv a bitta luck I should get my kitties photo in the local rag ..... 200,000 copies sold daily etc etc .......... I owe the newsagent a favour tho' ......... I take great offence to the word no...... Tosser.

So I'm waiting for 200 fotos to rock up thro my door, which I will stick to fliers dole & out personally ........

Other than hire a plane & have it zoom past a few times trailing a message "Anyone Seen Anna" ? .... I dunno what more to do .........

That true..... This cat is one of those who regularly forgets stuff ..... ie where her food dish is (On table to keep the dog off it) So will go hungry until you actually show her where it is ... This happens at least twice a week .... Will fall off the sofa & land on her head, rolling in her sleep.... Can land on the other cats who dole her out a whooping for that ........ But she just spits & legs it then. Will wake up on your lap/bed & go Postal with her claws on you because she's forgotten where she is & is frightened ......... So teachin' this retard of a mog is pretty much impossible ........
If she sees a litter tray she "Has to use it" even if this litter tray has been cleaned & is outside drying ....... or ......isn't a litter tray, its a tray full of potting compost left out on the side in the greenhouse...... What if you cover it up with say a sheet of plastic or a newspaper or Wood ......... That gets wazzed on (Or worse) instead :rolleyes: This cat makes Lando look intelligent :D

It isn't really practical here that one ....... We prolly have 300/500 potted plants on the go at this time of year ........ Gotta leave the doors open so they don't overheat ...... So its a wood frame in the doorway wiv chicken wire ..... I have known her walk in to that fall over then look surprised...

"Identichip" Do all that when I reported her missing ...... I will go round the vets with flyers tho' for their notice boards .......... RSPCA & all that wazola ....... Recognised animal shelters etc etc scan all strays as a matter of course when theys brought in ..... Her chip was fully operational last September when she went in for her annual hood up Check & Lube ....... Shots etc etc .... So all that's covered :(

I can't see em scanning bodies tho' ....... The local city dudes will just rock up & they will go off for incineration I spose

Both times mine escaped she sneaked out. :mad: She didn't try it often. When she was a kitten she sneaked outside in the winter and I tracked her down. I found her hiding under some bushes in the back yard.

I hauled her out and headed back to the house. Right before I tossed her through the door, I lifted her tail and stuck her acre in the snow piled up back the walk. :mad:

She didn't try it again for about 5 years and that time she was gone for a week. Mogs just tend to "forget" what they have been in trouble for before. :rolleyes:

I don't like the idea of dead mog either........ But mine are used to goin' out & enjoy it loads, it really is a big part of their lives, so to that end I won't keep them in.... I understand some people live places where it ain't mog friendly ..... Like Leppys gaff thats up skyward like ....... But my place is ok for mogs, the trick here is ..... Well the Golden rule really is...... In before dark & no going out after yas had yas tea ......... Anna sneaked out with a full stomach @ dusk .......... Unfortunately no one noticed till it was too late ......... The morning came & my "Star" had gone :(

JM, even if I lived on the ground floor, I'd keep them in these days. Around here someone would run them down just for giggles. I just don't like road pies. I had one that I dearly cared about deliberately run down in our drive by some bastages ( who are lucky they drove off fast, if I'd figgered out who they were, I'd run over their heads until they burst ). It was after that it was decided no more out doors kitty. Yeah the ones I have used to go out, and come home for dinner ( most days, ahem ) but they got used to being indoors kittys. Now I don't have flea and tick problems ( or need the meds for it ) and fewer injuries ( they do get rough with each other sometimes ). Healthier and longer lived is what makes me happier.

I didn't get any with the new struts, just a scratty bit of paper saying retain this this & this .......Like a fool I did ..... I got new bump stops with the covers tho (rubber squeeze box/Bellows lookin thingumi's)
