Got my permit yesterday!!

hooo! I though I was young (19) congrats on the permit |) the hardest part of the driving test is the parallel parking and all you have to do is prac is for about 30min and its a breeze to, although some peeps will fail you for not looking in your rear-view mirror every time you change a lane.

i got to drive to work today....my mom let me drive our newest truck... 95' blazer
not too bad.... i just don't have any practice at all with parking in spots etc...hehe

Wow...I totally forgot about getting my permit! Im gunna be 17 in...2 weeks?
I gotta rush if i wanna get my liscence on my birthday! (Hate Jersey..one of the few states ya gotta wait til your 17 for full liscence)

the usual time is 7 months after the 15th birthday. but, soon it will be 18. at least in AZ.

I don't know about other states, but AFAIK, there's no time limit in NY for getting your license. I got my permit back in March, and 3 months later (almost to the day) had my license... I have to wait until I'm 18 to get my full license (17 if I take driver ed.)... Basically the only difference is that with a full license, I can drive after 9 at night.
