I installed a parallel. zip to my system but won't assign a drive letter. It worked on my old pc.My new machine has an internal zip,but it's acting up,so I wanted to try the old external zip.I went to iomega's site (very helpfull) but no luck.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

run guest, for DOS or GUEST 95 for Win95. IT should now detect the new drive and install a driver. next time it should have a letter automatically.

Take the zip out of device manager first. Even though you may physically disconnect the drive, the device manager will still have the driver, and next time you run guest it will tell you it cannot find the Zip drive. Summary: disconnect zip physically, remove drive in device manager, shut down, connect zip, reboot, run guest again. At least this is the procedure I had to use when I had a zip a while back, the newer drivers might function better now...
