My CD ROM is sound and graphics is stuttering.... Can i fix this, they said a program is taking over, like the AFTerdark program, but i don't have afterdark so i don't know the problem.

This has been going on since last year.. I've altered the drivers, since it was using MS-DOS Compatibility Mode, i updated the drivers.
