My CD ROM is sound and graphics is stuttering.... Can i fix this, they said a program is taking over, like the AFTerdark program, but i don't have afterdark so i don't know the problem.

go into your cdrom properties and check to make sure its cache is set to large.has this problem just started? or have you altered something

i have already put in the largest cache at Quad and Higher. This has been going on since last year.. I've altered the drivers, since it was using MS-DOS Compatibility Mode, i updated the drivers. That's pretty much what i did..

can you give some more details as in - what kind of cd, what kind of system, did you install the cd into a system, how is cd installed (primary v secondary, master v slave, etc.)?
