I purchased several Micronics C200 M/Bs from Diamondmm for PC constuction. I think these boards are 'pulls'. I am trying to use the first one and a strange thing is happening when I attempt to boot up. I can enter the boot screen from the MICRONICS display screen but 'del' nor 'cntl, alt, esc' does not get me into the BIOS. If I do not attempt to enter the BIOS The boot stops shortly after the RAM check. When I do try to enter the boot program sometimes I get the message 'verifying DMI data ......' and sometimes I get 'BpG' followed by a diamond. Sometimes when I press 'del' the boot process restarts time and time again. I have checked and rechecked the jumpers, connectors, cards, and chips time and time again. Even called Troubleshooting at Diamondmm (NO HELP WHATSOEVER!!!). Any ideas? Thanks for your time. All comments and suggestions are appreciated! Mark.

Not sure if this will work with the particular boards you wrote about, but on some I have seen, if you press and hold down either the escape or F1 keys during the power-up, it will error out and provide you with an option to enter the bios setup.

some boards will error out if you try to boot with no keyboard attached. If it asks you to press a key plug the keyboard in and press it

Try going to this website: http://www.bcmcom.com/tech/tech.htm and try to find a motherboard that looks exactly like your Micronics C200 and has the same features. Then download the corresponding bios for that board and flash your board with it. I supposedly had "Micronics C400" motherboard and the bios on it was all screwed up just like you are saying. I found a corresponding board from BCM that was the same board and their bios made my board work perfect. I think BCM makes these boards for OEMs and Micronics buys them and puts their name on the board. Hope this helps.
