Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 19" or LG W2284F LCD

Hi all
I have a Mitsubishi Diamontron - Diamond Plus 91 CRT. Excellent monitor ( Aperture Grill ), mainly used for browsing , games and other different applications.
Im thinking to get an LCD , checked the LG W2284F

What do u think ? Space isnt a problem for me. I can handle this one or the other.

I'd go with the LCD unless you have a compelling reason to stick with CRT. LCDs take way less power and are easier on your eyes.

I'll go with the LCD for the reasons you mentioned. Besides, 22" is a nice screen, so I dont think I'll regret that at all. Concerning the specs, do u think I can get a better 22"LG with higher specs instead of the one I pointed to ?

The specs look pretty decent. The 4:3 feature is nice.

Are you only looking at LG? Samsung makes some pretty good LCDs too.

Check that your video card can do 1680x1050 resolution also.

Im looking only at LG because I know the guys @ LG and the warranty is 3 years.My GPU is a Inno3D 8600GT - 1GB DDR2

That card should be fine. Be sure to use DVI for best results.

I think you'll like the upgrade. Your old 19" CRT is more like a 17-18" LCD.

The screen is in my car right now , will hook it tonight :D
