Tis beta. Not a bad beta but it is a beta. Enjoy.
I run it for about a week. Didn't like it much. Maybe I will try again in a few months. Mostly driver issues.

XP may be "pedestrian" but it works, it's faster than Vista and it doesn't require the resources that Vista sucks up like a fat lazy pig. ;)

I run one rig at a time. That is enough for me to keep up with.
I built this one late last spring and gave me sis my opteron 185 rig. I coulda kept it but why? I don't do no distributed computing anymore. I killed an athlon xp 3200+ folding on it. Ferking HS fan died and took the chip with it. :mad:
I folded up until I lost my wife and then said to hell wif it. I should fold or do seti or whatever but I don't. Ferk'em and feed'em beans I say.

I am running Vista Ultimate 64 bit ATM. I went 64 so I could use mucho ram which vista loves.
I ran vista 32 bit on my 185 rig and it was lacking in the memory department. I can run 8 gigs on this bastage. Vista is almost happy with 8 gigs. :p
To be honest, I like vista now that I have the machine for it. My 185 was no slouch but I was ram limited and I occasionally run out...short of memory. That don't happen no more. ;)

I ran 2 rigs when the wife was alive. If I didn't BD had no rig to play wif. :mad: Becky was a computer hog.
It was a fair day today so I took a lil trip to the cemetary. Ya know, checking things out. Twas the first time since I lost her that I went to the grave, paid my respects, and left without getting all "boohoo poor me".
I stood there and thought and caught myself smiling a few times. Time heals. It had only been about 6 months since I had been there. I didn't go often because of the effect it had on me. Go to the cemetary, get drunk, feel like shizz not only because of the hangover but because somehow I felt like I let her down.
She is getting flowers this year that'll make the queen's garden look a shambles. I can go there now. I couldn't hack it mentally before.
Now Murph yas limey, send me Ms. Brook and the healing will be complete. I'll give her back in a year or two and she won't be harmed.;) If you limey's refuse to give her up I'll put on the inner city footwear and be round to collect her. :mad:
