If it's going to take you until October, then you should just wait. A lot can change in 6 months.

You just said RAID, but there are different levels of RAID. We generally don't recommend RAID0, unless you have a compelling reason. If you go with RAID0, you should buy THREE hard drives; 2 for the RAID array and 1 for backup.

We just had a post about RAID0.

I don't know what you mean by "more speed for dvd movies". Are you ripping DVDs to your hard drive?

Well just about every pc I every messed with have different speed.I seen pc move like snails, and I seen pc move so fast,it unreal. My moves some what slow,it not moven like a snail, and it not fast.Maken any sent here?

Now on to the Raid,I have read things on line that raid are good for, gamers pc,Movies and so on.Every thing I read kind got confusing. The pc I am trying to build is for on line gaming, and maken DVD movie with from my Camera,of my son basketball games he plays.

Asus M2N-SLI nForce 560 Socket AM2 Motherboard I got this board back in DEC with the chip.I am poor so I save $200.00 and then I order 2 more parts. What I really need help with,is this. Are the parts I picked out the best for my build?

If you think I am confusing you now wait till I ask you about the graphic cards.Cause I am and will be useing 2 for my build. But one step at a time. Thanks for your help.

never heard of that brand of PSU, but the other parts look ok.

I doubt you need RAID0 and your budget doesn't allow for it anyway.

You do not need RAID. You should get two hard drives and do regular backups. Use Drive Backup Express for that. It's free.

Online gaming speed should not be a problem on any modern PC with a good video card. Internet speed is very important. Spyware and viruses will KILL online gaming. Scan regularly for bugs and avoid pirated or "borrowed" software and you will be fine.

This is the motherboard and psu I have still in the box. This is what a AM2 is.

(The M2N32-SLI Deluxe supports AMD socket AM2 single-core Athlon 64/Sempron and dual-core Athlon 64 X2/Athlon 64 FX processors with 2MB/1MB/512KB L2 cache, which is based on 64-bit architecture. It features 2000/1600 MT/s HyperTransport Bus, dual-channel un-buffered DDR2 800 memory support and AMD Cool 'n' Quiet! Technology.. )

I can't tell you as much about Drive Backup as the help file can.

You use it to copy one entire drive to a file on a second drive. You create a bootable CD with the program so that you can start the PC if the first drive fails so that you restore the file to a new hard drive.

As I said, you can get better information by installing the program.

What part didn't you get? The HD and RAM should work fine, but I'd look at a more respectable PSU company. Seasonic, Corsair, etc.

I like to get some more information on the Graphic's cards I am planning on useing.
What confuseing me is PCI Expree slots.
What the different from a x16 to a 2.0?
And can a 2.0 go in to a x16?
The motherboard(Asus M2N-SLI nForce 560 ) I have picked calls for
2x pci express x16
2x pci express x1
2x pci 2.2 slots what is this?

And if anyone has any good ideals on the best graphic's card i should use please post.$100 range is good for price I would like to spend. No more then $150 per card tho....
