Can't get any sound with my ATI TV Player. Picture is fine. Does it have anything to do with PAL or NTSC settings? How about audio settings. Do I have to select wave/direct, cd audio? I'm guessing that has to do with where the audio cable is connected. Thanks all

yes do you have a audio cable going from the ati card to your sound card? If so then select wav.

Make sure you don't have the Mute box checked in Volume Control.

We have this card on one of our machines. We had to select Line-In. The printout I have from a FAQ regarding capturing avi file with no sound has a note to the following:

"...check the recording volumes on the mixer to ensure that the audio channel carrying tv sound (typically line in) is set to a reasonable value. also ensure that this channel is selected and not muted."

In the sound wizard we selected the audio-input line in and channel line in.
