RobFM 02-06-2000, 10:01 AM To put it simply... No. ENVY 02-06-2000, 10:04 AM zip 250's are backwards compatible to 100.Right? Friend of mine uses his in his new 250 drive. Dave_H 02-06-2000, 10:12 AM Yes a zip 100 disk works fine in a zip 250 drive. It is a little slower writing to the disks because of the different heads. Reading the disk seems just as quick. Dave edit-note that you can't use 250 disks in a 100 drive. And it's not a stupid question at all, I made darn sure myself before getting one. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif -edit [This message has been edited by Dave_H (edited 02-06-2000).] sgw75 02-06-2000, 11:06 AM Cool, thanks! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif SysOpt.com
