Stupid question perhaps...can an Iomega Zip 250 drive read zip100 disks?

zip 250's are backwards compatible to 100.Right? Friend of mine uses his in his new 250 drive.

Yes a zip 100 disk works fine in a zip 250 drive. It is a little slower writing to the disks because of the different heads.
Reading the disk seems just as quick.

edit-note that you can't use 250 disks in a 100 drive. And it's not a stupid question at all, I made darn sure myself before getting one. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif -edit
