My startup screen is not showing, it just shows the DOS screen that is loading stuff, then it goes to my win95. how do i get the startup screen to show, my shutdown, and power off screen shows, but the startup, i think it's delayed because some drivers aren't loading, i still have to fix that, but can i get the startup to show?

Do you have TweakUI??
Look under the "boot" tab and place a checkmark on "display splash screen."

Or, the file your looking for is called logo.sys .

You can also change that by editing the "msdos.sys" file. Change "logo=0" to "logo=1" or just eliminate the "logo=" line. You will have to change the properties of msdos.sys in order to edit it.

Another method: it could be that the "logo.sys" file has become corrupt -boot from a Windows floppy and do a "sys c:" a at the prompt, this will restore the logo.sys file - or you could just copy logo.sys from the floppy to your C: drive.
