Hey Axel: How does this differ from "Live Update" which I use on my computer ( 5.0( and my daughters ( 2000). I noticed that the download on the Norton page was 2.37 Mb but my Live Update was only 324kb, but both had same release date. And my virus software says I'm protected by virus definitions of Jan31,2000. Is there any need for concern??

don't quote me on this, but I think live update actually knows the difference between the last definition file you downloaded and the one you are about to pull and only gets you that piece plus anything the program will need to integrate it into the def list going forward.

I just prefer to pull the whole new file each time to avoid and update issues.

At network speeds, it's only a 3 minute download anyway.

Also - in some cases, I believe live-update also upgrades parts of the program itself, but I'm not sure on that either.
