but have no idea what is good and what is a good price. I only use my computer for home mainly surfing, kids homework...some games but nothing serious and want to get into taking pics and saving them with the digital camera....
Do any of these systems look like a good deal?http://www7.shoppingplanet.com/compu/compu/c-comput.HTM

Hi, What these guys are doing is building a PC from components. I suggest you find a good local PC shop, ask for references, and let them build you one. That way, you have a way to get action if something doesn't work after delivery. You may pay a little more but you'll get lots of peace of mind. These prices are deceptive because they are non standard. By the way, stay away from Western Digital or Maxim Hard Drives. They can be troublesome. Ask your local PC repairment about what's best.

The second one(PC Upgrade #30) does not look bad at all. Looks like what you need.

Like Jad said, I'd even might go for #2 myself. Just waiting til K-2-+ chips come out before I decide. Good Luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
