Yet another problem with win98....
I use a screen capture utility called HyperSnap DX. There is a little scanner icon on the toolbar of this prog. Now when I want to use my scanner, I click on the icon and my scanner software pops up. I pre-scan, make adjustments if necessary.
Then I try to do a regular scan and nothing. I can't exit, or scan, or anything. Now if I just scan to begin with,(no pre-scan), it'll scan. Then back to hypersnap to edit and save. But, still the scanner software won't do anything. Have to ctrl/alt/del and end task, and that even takes 3 to 4 tries before it works. In other words, I can only do one thing, and then it stops responding. Also at this point, HyperSnap is frozen too.
I get one shot here. If I don't get it the first time, I have to crtl/alt/del, end task and try starting all over again.
Anyone have a similar problem? What should I look for, and do? Not sure where to start here. I have uninstalled the capture re-booted, and re-installed it. I have re-installed the scanner drivers (latest from musetek).
I've run my system files checker, and version conflict checker.
My scanner is a Musetek 600CP, connected through my printer port.
Thanks in advance to all..
