Hows the lousy economy effect you?

With all the lousy bailouts and banks going down tubes. I been very conservative in buying stuff like I used to in the passed. I still have my job tho there is talk of the company selling. So I am planning ahead and try to keep a positive view of what to do in case that does happen. I surely don't live beyond my means and I don't spend on expensive items. Seems institutions that have failed because of **** poor managment are now being saved. Hey.....how about the common person that is about to lose their home? why don't they get some big buck bailout also? Isn't every homeowner just as important as a company? I don't see a positive economy in the near future. Maybe in a few years....but that is still years away. :(

If ya pays ya bills, ya keep ya house. People think that its their RIGHT to own their own home ........ New for J00's ...... It ain't ....... If it be a new pair of shoes or a house ..... If you ain't got the money ya can't have it PERIOD.

Borrow too much & ya ends up in the poo, kind of a fact O' life.

I'm a little more concerned about our current natural gas supply issues ....... Its relatively obvious that our escalating energy requirements are going to have to be met by electricity, whilst our current electricity distribution infrastructure is good, it will require significant reinforcement & our generation capabilities require a massive shot in the arm. Nuclear is the way to go as we don't have any coal handy, the gas is running out & no vast supplies of moving fluids..... Unless of course you actually believe that wind farms, pv panels & wave power is going to provide......

The palm greasing, the nudge nudge of self interest, the winning wink of slight that is rampant among bosses and the wealthy today is obscene. Their self interest and belief in 'their' RIGHT to profligate reward is a chilling phenomon.

It is massively inefficient, wasteful and ridiculous. lt is beyond greed - pure ignorant stupidity.

In luxury and awe they claim right to exorbitent wealth as reward for opulent days doing actually nothing. Shuffling data, winking and nudging, greasing and lobbying. Bright, accomplished school leavers can do a better job.

No hard cheese here or disillusion, l simply point up that we all know and comply with and accept. A system of profit benefits all through efficient trading, providing exchange of goods and services and garnering flourishing wealth that is open to abuse.

Today,each nation affected by the 'Financial Fools' - is paying vast sums of money to put right business mistakes that simply do not work and cannot be fixed. All the hundreds of Billions is actually and quite simply maintaining the 'rewards' of the idiots who caused the problems in the ignorance of their greed. They are ill, morally deficient, flawed human beings who should not be playing with peoples lives. They belong in rubber rooms, winking at the walls.


These Fools reap untold personal wealth administering simple flawed financial contracts that should have been childs play to keep in order - believe they and their enterprise matter. Indeed they are so important that thay cannot be allowed to fail. Would someone please kick them up the bum, hard, and wake these people up or put them in the looney bin where they belong. Profit is something for nothing, that li'l bit on top that makes it all worthwhile. A proven and practical process of efficient distribution and motivation. Some very screwed up people are trying to change that. Profit is not a tax, it is not a right.

Wow different sets of fires hit the Los Angeles area on Saturday. Was so smokey the sky was orange and the air was full of soot. 1000's of people were displaced and had to evacuate. This has really got to be one of the worse if not worse period I seen since I been alive. I tell people holidays are suppose to be where you give thanks for your family, friends, and health. This holiday is more about being greatful for what little you have left if any. I don't see any advertisments for holiday festivities nor any turkey specials in stores. Usually I see promos for free giveaway turkeys. Thanks giving is about 2 weeks away and I see nothing yet. This holiday is very different for many people.
