I have an enclosure for two external hard drives. When I connect it on its USB port I can see the two drives in the disk management console, whereas when I connect on its ESata port, there's only one disk seen. Is there anything to do to see both disks?
Thank you.

Posting the make/model number and a link to the specs would be helpfull;)

Details would help. I've told you that before.

If anything, you may need to set it up as JBOD. Normally, an eSATA port will only see one drive unless you use RAID or a port multiplier.

The enclosure is a Digitus DA-70525. Please refer to this link:
http://www.bimel.com.tr/urun/pdf/assmann/2008/07_sata-scsi_en.pdf
and see on page 238 for not very detailed specifications. The user's guide is rather poorly detailed as well.

Thanks, that's all I wanted to know. A little kindness would help too with some people.

That PDF says the enclosure has a port multiplair, which I'm guessing means multiplier. They don't even have a good picture of the switches on the back.

Basically, you need to enable the port multiplier function.
