noooo 3gb lost when i tried to remove linux

hmm it appears that the files where on a invicible partition that DOS did not see
fdisk sees it but how do i remove it
so that i can use these 3gb

fdisk sees the partition as a EXDDOS partition

but i cant remove it

what you can do is use your linux setup disk and use it's disk druid and delete the partition and leave it as FREE SPACE. then shutdown and launch back into windows then you should beable to use FDISK to covert the free space in to a useable partition

Or if you have access to Partition Magic (as it works with all the file formats) and it can convert the partition over to a partition format that you want.
