This shouldn't even be an issue at this point in time. They have been recalling batteries since 2002. :rolleyes:

It couldn't happen to a "nicer" company IMO.

Top notch. I agree it shouldn't be an issue at this point. You'd think they'd have quality battery manufacturing down pat by now. I'd be interested to know why this does happen, especially with Sony. Are they trying to push the batteries to their limits for performance? Or are they just cutting corners in production and quality control?
