well right now I have a 601mhz celery running in one pc and another at 596 on my bf6. well I've got a couple of days left so I can exchange the bf6 and get a bp6 and stick my celeries in. is there a turbo mode on the bp6. too bad there are no speeds between 100 and 124. I've checked out user reviews and seems like this is one mighty fine board. thx. only prob is that one celery is week 40 and the other is week 44. thx

Enen though I'm still "green", I like this MB alot. I'm only running 1 500MHz celeron right now, hope to upgrade soon to dual 366. This board is very flexable-2 UDMA 66 channels,2 IDE. The DMA66 seems to be fast. Bios is nice(adjustable)Use the Nov 99 Bios to get full use of the DMA.(adds a screen for DMA only). I klike it alot!!

TOTALLY dig my bp6.
I'd recommend it to anyone!
I've got 2 C500's running in it now, not OC'd.
The only thing I'd recommend is upgarding the BIOS to the "NJ" bios. There is a newer BIOS available but the reviews I've read say to stick with the "NJ" version.
There is a fantastic site totally devoted to the bp6 mobo-
www.bp6.com (http://www.bp6.com)
Has a message board with lots of good info and user comments/fixes.
The CPU softmenu is an overclockers dream come true. No more jumper settings to muck with you can adjust on the fly without cracking the case. Very nice!

Better late than never huh? Well what can I say I LOVE this board! As long as your using the correct procedure to install the ATA66 bios and drivers (depending on win9x or win2k) it just rocks! I have 2 366's running perfectly at 550 @ 2.0v. And today in the mail I received my OEM final version of Win2K (had been running the RC2 as it was better for me than RC3) so I will either today or tomorrow install the Final.
ps. this machine has really helped my RC5 effort too http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif (another plug for RC5!)

thx guys sounds like this is definitely a must get. but my bf6 is also awesome as it has 1mhz increments from 83-200fsb. looks like i'm leaning towards the bp6 though.

Big, The only reason in my eyes to change from the board you have now to BP6 is if you plan on running a SMP enabled OS such as Win2K, NT or Linux or for that fact BEOS (although BE has the least amount of hardware and software compatablity).

gotta say that i dig this board a bunch. i've had it for a couple of months and not one problem yet (at least not one that i didn't create http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif) Right now i've got two cely 400's both at 594 at 2.10v running smooth as silk, haven't had a glitch in a month.
