"error:-something about pge fault caused by
RPCSS.exe
What is that??????

rpcss.exe =remote procedure call service server. it has something to do with your protocols. are you running nt or what as was stated before. Gene C.

I'm running win98 oem.

What the error message says is,.....

RPCSS.exe this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

Then I get nothing, I push the reset button, scandisk comes on, then it reboots and everything is OK.

Sometimes it will do this only once and other times it will happen several times in a row.
