Hi everyone,
I am getting a strange error message when I am trying to run my dvds. It is the first time I have tried to install my dvd player on my new machine even though it has run on other machines just fine. My system specs are:
PII 450
128 mb ram
13.6 udma 66 hd
atapi cdrom
creative pc-dvd rom drive
creative riva tnt 2 blaster
SB live x-gamer sound card
the error message states that "there was an error authenticating the disc in the dvd drive. Please hit stop, then play to correct the problem. If that does not work then you may have to close the program."
No matter how many times I have tried it, it doesnt work. Nor does reinstalling the dvd drive, decoder card, and disabling everything but video, sound, and dvd. If anyone has any insight, I surely would appreciate it.
