Your spider was playing 'possum. Typical arachnid defensive manœuver. (Less typical than the venomous bite but rather preferable to it.)

Yep, I love to have those little Fuzzy Jumpers in the house, fewer other bugs that way, although the cats will go for a fuzzy too. Population control.

Spideys is cold blooded, so it's cold, warm it up, it'll be happy, unless it warms up in a kitty tummy or on a hotplate :eek:
