The Opium cash crops of Afghanistan have been causing political, economic and Miltary havocs for some 200 years. The products of this crop are illegal as are its proceeds. Many have tried political, economic or military solutions to the problems of the area which are far larger than the actual crop. Nato forces in the region now are giving Russia and Afghanistans neighbours serious succour from the regions political insanity.

The one thing that any and everyone refuses to do is destroy the poppy fields.
The politics and diplomacy taking place is quite pathetic, right the way up the chain. lt's time to get our soldiers home from afghanistan, 'cos at the end of the day all they are actually doing is defending the poppy fields for the scum that profit from them.

It's a mixed bag with Mu - one step forward two back - l swear if ever someone was their own worst enemy. Hic cups and setbacks.... 4th August.. jeez....

It's not her fault, an almighty whack or two to the head. She's exhausted, the ortho stuff is mending, bruising pretty much away now. Slow healing the physio.... and fingers crossed with the neuro side of it - time, time is her friend.
