Tekram scsi not found during bootup

I upgraded to Soyo 6BA+IV with no problems,
then installed a Tekram DC390U2W and Teac 58S. Now when I boot up the tekram utility
screen is sometimes not displayed, which
DOS does not see the scsi card. Other times
my scsi devices are not in Windows even though the scsi card is listed. Anyone have
an idea why my scsi card is not seen by the
motherboard/DOS. So far neither Tekram or
Soyo have come up with a solution. I think
the DC390U2W may be bad as my brothers DC390F
worked fine in this same system. thanks in advance.

I too would agree that your Scsi card must be bad. You might double check to see if the contacts are good and clean and the card is fully seated.
