Well... the Braves-Mets series is over... the game ended on a bases-loaded walk..... And I was looking forward to an all-NYC World Series, too! Oh, well... baseball isn't one of my favorite sports anyways!

braves hopefully will win, they definitely deserve more than the one world series ring during the 90's. anyways yanks need to get robbed on some calls eventually. they shouldn't have beaten the orioles a couple years ago but the stupid Mayer kid(or whatever his name is) changed the fate of the series. anyways all this will be nothing when nba season starts up cuz bball's the most exciting spectator sport around(tennis is awesome too but you gotta be player to appreciate it). Lakers are my team but they'll probably stink it up again. maybe phil jackson can't even help this bunch but they did get a couple of veterans like harper,green and john salley. anyways we should have more sports related threads here. since we're on the subject who looks good to you braves, yanks? what about superbowl(no the Rams won't do it,remember this is the rams we're talking about), stanley cup(avalanche), nba finals(jazz deserve one, and this is probably there last legit shot at it since hornacek is retiring and stockton doesn't have the minutes in him anymore).

foosball is the devil! /forum/wink.gif football, on the other hand, is the best sport hands down. just look at how many people who watch the superbowl, even those who don't watch another game all season. compare that with the same people for the NBA finals. not even a contest. i don't care much for the 'pokes, but i like them against the giants, simply because i don't like the giants much, the the cowboy's are fun to watch, when they aren't a winning team. now for the denver donkeys.... /forum/wink.gif

oh, and another thing. when jake plummer heals up, it won't matter who they play buts will be kicked, because the cards' always play better just after getting a player back from injury, because the whole team gets better when they compensate for the missing starter. the cards' will rise again, though i don't know if it will be in AZ. and who, i ask, who, is undefeated? hee hee hee, i always knew san deigo was a good team....
