I have a dual-boot Laptop with Vista Business and XP Pro. I need to reinstall (sound has stopped working and cannot get on my home wireless any longer. No malware or viruses. and it has been almost 2yrs since original install) Windows XP. What is the easiest way to reinstall XP without also reinstalling Vista?

There is no "easy" way. Just reinstall Windows XP and keep the Vista CD handy for running FIXBOOT and FIXMBR from the recovery console.

If you know you're going to dual-boot any two OSes, it's best to create a boot partition of about 100MB before the other two. This way, you can Ghost it to a file and restore just that.
