I think my Toshiba has came close to it's end. It still works good, except for the power jack, which I have decided is to much work to do, or have done.
Two of the USB ports are worn out, battery is getting weak, and needs more memory.
So, I am building a new Dell. I've heard good and bad about Dell, but thought I would give them a try.
I now need help choosing my DVD player. Here are the 3 options, and all the same price, so that's not an issue.
I think the differences my just be software, I'm not sure so I'm here to ask the experts. Thanks
1. 8X DVD+/-RW with double-layer DVD+R write capability, Cyberlink Power DVD

2. 8X DVD+/-RW w/Dbl-layer DVD+R Write Capability, Cyberlink Pwr DVD and Roxio

3. 8X DVD+/-RW w/Double-layer DVD+R Write Capability

If it's all the same price you might as well get the full package with Powerdvd and Roxio. I'm guessing that Roxio is the burning suite.

I personally don't like Roxio, but Powerdvd is fine.

All three example drives are the same. As far as the software goes, you can get good free burning programs.

So, in essence, do not hinge your decision on the DVD drive.
