I got a new problems with WIN98 std. every time I try to install new programs from my CD-ROM or CD-Writer. It's a new PC so therefor it's a big problem while I can't get it "up to work" from the buttom.
Fault; Under installation a blue screen arrive with these messages (not in one time)
OE 24X:BFF9DBA7, OE 24X:C1826204, OE 24X:981F2D80. After this I can't install unless they arrive evry time - only Format and reinstall helps. WHAT is wrong?

Get any blue screens of death? An invalid OE error has occured blah blah blah....press and key to return to windows? If so, there will be a filename in there somewhere...should be on the right hand side....maybe not, somewhere in the text. Write the filename down, search for it under drivers of your different devices in the device manager under system in the control panel. It means that that particular driver is corrupted. I've seen problems like your describing...only with a blue screen (of death) and I traced it back to corrupted video, corrupted NIC, just about everything.

I've noticed a lot of "blue screen" errors are cleared up by updating drivers. If it says fatal exception OE has ocurred at memory address blah blah blah, update the video drivers. This works 60% of the time.
