Repar Network Connect???

My son's grand-father-in-law has a computer WXP Home, the always starts the "Repair Network Connection" wizard at boot up. He is not on a network nor does he have the Internet. Doesn't have a modem or router. Any ideas how to get rid of this??? :confused: :confused:

I'm guessing the system has a network card. you could disable the network card in device manager.

You could also go into control panel - network connections - local area connection properties and uncheck the "notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity"
