Should you have FF 3, you will have to wait until the add ons are fixed so they will work with it. Probably a couple weeks.
Humm, that was fast

there is an add-on which organizes the add-ons or something similar. i forgot its name i must check the other hdds. FEM??? it was on a german website. dont think about it i will come back here with the info.
you understand i want to automize my addons(pw and favorites too). i have 10-15 add-ons. export/import PWs and favorites is no problem.

That vulnerability is also in FF2, so it shouldn't hold you back from installing FF3.
I think you mean FEBE and it is NOT FF3 compliant.

yes FEBE and i will come back when importing will not work this time. or: do you have a link?

BTW, Some Ad-Ons for FF3 are Not as yet available on Firefox official site, but might be already available on the developers' original sites.
So it is a good idea to look for the original sites.

i had troubles when using then non-FEBE-import-instructions. but this time i will exclusively use FEBE. will stay with FF 20014 despite the fact that i have some problems with FF only. not with netscape 7.01- will come back an report in my other thread. thanks a lot.

i have extensions,bookmarks and usernames/passwords saved.
when restoring bm and pw/unames it says all changings before will be overwritten and cannot be restored. i am puzzled. i want to add the items from a second hdd. will all these settings delete existing ones , those which are not on the second hhd?
with extensions it worked.
btw: i had troubles using floppy. maybe it was not enough space sometimes. its a pity we must create the folder beforehand and its not done during saving.

I can't quite follow what you are doing. Can't you just download the xpi files for your extensions and drag and drop them into the addons window of Firefox? If you are going from FF2 to FF3, then it doesn't make sense to transfer your extensions.
Don't you have a usb flash drive by now? I only use floppies for is bios updates or f6 driver installs.
There are a lot of services that are eased on storing. BackUping, Syncronizing, etc. personal and business information online.
Foxmark is one of them, I.e., it stores you Links html file on their server and through them you can update/Sync. your links from any computer that you want through the Internet.
People have different approaches to such services. I avoid using them and prefer my own solutions.
Actually for enthusiasts there is a very good solution.
Add a server based on Windows Home Server to your computer farm.
The OS comes with a DNS service from Microsoft + Free SSL certificate.
You can access the server securely from any place in the world and do what need to be done on your own terms.
Using a computer based on VIA C-7 the computer takes only 36 Watts at load.

Print out a list of your favorite URLs from Internet Explorer without using any add-on tools.
