Western Digital Diagnosis tool problem

Hi. I downloaded the .iso image of WD's diagnosis tool but when I try to run it an error message tells me that the license file could not be found. Have you guys had this problem? Thanks.

You diden't download the program. Here is a link to data lifeguard tools. click the download button, you will get a .zip file, download that to you desktop so it's easy to find and unzip the program to you desktop as well. Be sure to turn off you pop-up blocker before you download the file. Run the install program and you will be ready to use the tool.
I use it all the time works great even on other drive besides WD.

You might want to download and burn a copy of the UBCD for Windows tool. It has all the hard drive daig tools plus lots of other useful tools on it.
