I have a Dell Dimension 3000 and I went to the Dell site to upgrade the driver which I did. OS is XP. Is there anything I can do to make the DVD burner eject besides hit the eject button????... Does that mean the Drive has DIED.... Train 05-20-2008, 01:31 PM May have, then again you may have a mess up in the regs or drivers. Go into device manager, using Safe mode and remove all instances of the dvd install, reboot and windows should install the correct drivers. Test it out.
