I locked files on my computer and forgot my password for them is there any way to unlock the files with out the password?

What files did you lock? Were they Word documents or something?

Spreadsheets? There are a few password removal utilities around. What OS, what app, what kind of files.

It wasnt spreadsheet ddocs or anything like that they were wav files, its an aptiva file lock thing is there any way to remove it?

don't know if this will help or not. but, go to the start,find,files&floders and search for *.pwl files "these are your systems passwords files"and see if you can see the one pretaining to the files you are talking about and than just delete the file. you can saftly delete these files. and reboot the system. all it will do is wipe out all you system passwords.
