I locked files on my computer and forgot my password for them is there any way to unlock the files with out the password?

Gene C. 01-26-2000, 08:29 PM don't know if this will help or not. but, go to the start,find,files&floders and search for *.pwl files "these are your systems passwords files"and see if you can see the one pretaining to the files you are talking about and than just delete the file. you can saftly delete these files. and reboot the system. all it will do is wipe out all you system passwords.
