My ex wife has plenty of 24k gold from Peru. It is a darker gold so I don't know if it is as expensive as gold we have here. But I know it is pure and she has alot of it. I read often that Wheat, Corn and Platinum and Gold is selling for high prices. So where could I send my ex wife to check how much she can get for her gold? We both live in California at the present time. Thanks in advance. Laterz.

Not lived here long? DTLA (http://www.google.com/search?num=30&complete=1&hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1T4GGLJ_en___US256&q=los+angeles+jewelry+district&aq=f) has one of the largest jewlery districts/exchanges in the nation. You'll laugh at retail when you see some of these places in action.

Shoreguy has got it. Grab your metals and head on down. Enough shops there to make your head spin. Walk around and get several guys to bid on it. And if you see Mayor Villar, take his picture.

24ct gold is exactly that. It will be worth what gold is worth. You don't get more expensive 24ct gold and less expensive 24ct gold.
It's probably just dirty. Boil it in some water and that should clean it up. Don't worry the melting point for gold is almost 2000F.
