Please help. I have a problem with my quad speed Atapi cd-rom. Whenever I load a CD, it tries to read the CD as audio, whether it's on autorun or not. The properties says 'Audio CD', and won't let me change or read it.
Is there a way I can change my CD-ROM to stop it from thinking every CD is an audio one?
Thanks
Tony

First of all.. on win98 cd should be tweakUI.. when installed you'll have an option on disabling (any) cd being read on input (autorun).
Secondly.. did you previously have any other cdrom's installed? Try booting into save mode and checking that out.. and deleting others you find.
Third in Control Panel/System.. when looking at your cdrom properties.. does it post any error at all?

Serge,
Tried booting in save mode and deleted a CD-ROM I didn't have. Also reloaded driver. Seems to have done the trick.
Thanks a million.
Tony ;-)
