So yes, it's likely I flashed a bios for an incorrect manufacture. Now the system wont boot. I can get into CMOS, but the boot locks up just after detecting Primary and Secondary drives. Anything to try before I buy a new board?
Thanks.

That's not a good idea, but it seems you found that out already. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
I might add that you are lucky that your BIOS posts at all at this point. Not giving you a hard time, just stating that because there just may be a way out of your situation.
You will need to find the proper BIOS flash now and rerun it and hope for the best.
What motherboard (and revision) do you have?
Some manufacturers now include a BIOS flash or recovery right on the CD ROM that comes with the board, too.

And NEVER upgrade you FLASH BIOS if everything is running good. Use the bios upgrade as a last resort.

Now there's some good advice; but I have to admit that sometimes I get that itch to flash "just because it came out"
I'm holding off the newest flash for my board. Asus just came out with a new one for the K7M, but my system is working fine. It ain't broke, so I'm not fixin' it...

You need the proper flash utility and the proper bios upgrade software. When you try to re-flash it may say that it is not flashable or improper upgrade etc. Go ahead and try to force the flash. You need the flash utility that corresponds with your bios manufacturer. Award or American Megatrends etc.
