iTunes problems

I''ve been having problems with iTunes not properly importing music from my cd's. I have been using iTunes with my video Ipod for over 3yrs with no problems. Now it is no longer properly importing music from my cd's.

1. When I pop in a cd and click import. It just imports the entire cd within 15 seconds! Not like before when it showed it was importing each until it finished the cd.

2. When I check my library, it shows the music & artist. But when you look at the time for each song. It is zero, nothing was imported? This problem started about a month now and I can't figure it out.

3. I upgraded to the new version, hoping it would take care of it. But nope, I've completely uninstalled all the programs, cleared my cache, cookies, etc. But still nothing, same problem. I even clicked the repair option on iTunes and zilch. I called apple tech support. The girl who helped was clueless, she had me do the same steps I did and a few more. Then she said "wow, I've never heard of that before" You think?

So she was no help. Then she said it's my cdrom, I said nope, because I can import the same cd on Yahoo Jukebox and it works.

Sorry this was long, but has anyone heard of this problem?? I can't think of anything else?
