Raptor..10k drives...

I just bought a new Raptor 10k drive for my families comp ( I kind of killed there last one, and had to ), and it seems to be much noisier then the old 7200rpm ones. Any 1 that owns one notice this?

Yep. I noticed my is a bit nosier then other drives..Speed at a price;)

that is to be expected since it's higher rpm. it's not nearly as bad as a scsi cheetah, though.

you'll only hear it when you are like loading a game, a heavy software application, and during booting windows only

all other time is nice and quiet
