Alright, windows2000 professional up and running and my question is this. would there be any reason my games such as rogue spear and quake 3 wouldnt be running? rogues spear doesn't start and quake 3 says that it can't find default opengl drivers. Also, i can't seem to make it utilize my surround speakers. i have the digital 2500 from creative labs and only the front right and left are working. When i try to install the utilities that came with the cd's it just doesn't load. Anybody know where i can get some drivers for my CL RIVA TNT2 ULTRA or my sound card CL SB LIVE! PLATINUM? anything that would help my win2k perform better would be of great assistance. thanks

thanks for replying. however, i'm not quite sure as to how to install those drivers. i read the read-me and at one point it says "Insert the NVIDIA NT Driver Library Installation Disk 1 into the 3.5" floppy drive." What is the NVIDIA NT Driver Library Installation Disk? Thanks again buitenb.

Agggh, I just realized this is about NT/2000, the note was about 98, SoSorry

Thats easy...the files assume they are to be installed from a floppy disk! Just type in the path to the files from the drivers and it will find everything ok.
Win2K-Q3-OpenGL rocks with 3.69, even does full OpenGL accell from a windowed view! ( Win9x will not do this)
