I have a Creative SB16 PCI, and its giving me hell.
Sometimes (more often than not), when i boot up my computer, the sound works, but I cant open volume control. Because of this, over half of my games won't load. I get illegal page fault, or nothing happens.
The only way i can get round this is ti reboot, which can take up to 6 times beforei get the sound controller back. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
This is getting really annoying, so please tell me hoe to sort it out!
