I'm returning my piece of s*** Gateway PIII 550 and i 'm taking out the ram that i added myself. i don't have one of those staic free bags so my question is where should i store this ram? i've been told a ziplock baggie is a good idea but i thought that i'd ask you'all

how about in my computer? it will be nice and safe in there....

a bit about antistatic baggies - they are out there because less than 1 percent of electronic boards and such are supposedly zapped by static charges. yes - a small ziplock should be fine - then just put it in a drawer safe from bumps and refrigerator magnets. -

Personally, I don't worry much about the static bags, but since you're concerned you might stop by any computer store which builds or upgrades machines. They throw out those bags in quantity & should be glad to give you one.
