I was hoping someone could point me to a parts list for my Acer AL1912 19" monitor....

I have some light horizontal lines coming in on it when it is run for more than an hour, and one forum said to replace the Vertical IC and that should do the trick.. but i need to find a replacement first, and a diagragm telling me where the vertical IC is located on the unit...

any help would be appreciated...

Here is the Acer website with the technical documents/support the techs use. http://csd.acer.com.tw/
Can get it here:

In a nutshell, unless you are a electronics tech or a very knowledgeable non-pro, then you are probably way over your head. Most electronic components today are not very well serviceable at the level you are attempting. The IC is probably on the main board. If you pull the board, you should be able to spot the IC(S) and then identify the one you need to repair. If you pull the board and can't tell an IC from flux capacitor, (he-he), I'd suggest you pull out the universal repair tool, your credit card, and go get a new one.

feed it garbage and it runs all day long. :r

I agree with the fact that monitors are one thing that if failing, one would be wise to just go out and get another or newer model, and or any other monitor. The days of the TV repairman are long... gone. ;)
