Repeated Msgsrv32 errors

I have been receiving the above messages resulting in frequent system crashes. The message indicates a problem w/ windows 32 bit VXD server.
The system has been slow to open selected programs and it seems to take forever to start printing after getting request.
Is this a Win '98 system problem or a conflict w/ drivers and/or programs?

Another Windows System file. Try the Run: sfc and see if it's corrupt. Have your Win98 CD ready to replace the corrupt file.

BTW, have you been keeping Win98 updated with critical updates?
