Midknyte 12-27-2007, 04:50 PM did you uninstall from the control panel or did you manually delete files? if you can't delete a file, that usually means a program is using it. ztein 12-27-2007, 05:17 PM First I tried to delete it through Add/remove, but when I selected Nero and pressed Remove, it though for like 3 seconds and then gave me some warning sign, that this option is only for currently installed application. So I decided to use RegOrganizer to remove it. Nero was there in the list and it actually started to do something, but instead of deleting the program it tried to install it. I also tried to delete it by finding uninst.exe, but when i clicked it some error appeared, something about me having more up to date version of program. So I just deleted it manually, and now i got this thing. By the way I still got Nero 7 in my Control Panel and RegOrganizer lists, which are indicated about 500Mb size. Midknyte 12-27-2007, 05:30 PM I figured you pooched the uninstall. That's why you have remnants. I doubt you'll be able to delete all the files and registry entries manually. Try reinstalling then uninstalling the program properly. make sure to kill any nero processes before running the uninstall, like nero search and nero scout. Lgbpop 12-27-2007, 05:39 PM If nothing else, you should be able to uninstall it from Safe Mode, once you've reinstalled it as noted above. That way, the program will be dormant. ztein 12-27-2007, 06:35 PM OK, Thanks. Ill try. SysOpt.com
