I have an ABIT BH6 rv. 1.0 LN BIOS running an 300a 66mhz(not overclocked) and I want to upgrade to a PIII 500mhz(not an E). What is the procedure? Discharge CMOS and put?

As long as your flash BIOS version supports it, you should just be able to pull the old processor, put the new one in, boot up and then hit [Del] when prompted to get into the settings for the motherboard.

Then go to the first choice (one above the default cursor position), and then use Page Up or Page Down to select your processor.

Now that I think about it, I would do the last step first, to make sure your BIOS version supports that processor. I know after a certain one do, just not sure which one. Be sure to exit CMOS setup without saving if you decide to 'just check'.
