modem problems

i have a modem problem. I'll be on AOL and all of a sudden it will kick me off. Sometimes it'll say that my modem is no longer sending data. ?? or it'll say my connection has been lost. Don't know what's wrong. Can someone please help. Thanks!

Could be AOL- e-mail them & see if they can give you more band width on your connection. What kind of modem are you using? Also try www.56k.com (http://www.56k.com) lots of good info & help threr

If its in the last 2 weeks its aol as my son and I have noticed more than normal traffic and frequent lost connections.mac

well gene it's a Digicom Systems 56K PCI fax modem. Could it be the modem???
