My pc is not keeping proper time. This am it said the time was 10:45pm last night. I set it last night and already it is off. Could it be the system battery? I just purchased this motherboard brand new a few months ago. Thanks in advance for any help.

It is possible your battery could be bad I have seen it before. You could try replacing it or have it checked. On some boards there is a jumper for the cmos battery. What kind of M/B do you have.
