If you are not supporting this project, get with the program! (To all those who won't, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits, justkidding hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!) Go to http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/tmsummary.php3?team=9742

are you from the bible belt? you sure do sound like it. stop being so dogmatic. there is more to the distrib comp world than rc5

There is more than rc5-64? I wouldn't know. /forum/smile.gif

*sigh*

I am curious. what is it about rc5 that enthralls you so much? I like running seti, but I care more about the spirit of the seti project, not about my stats. i seem to see a lot of posting about key rates, not how people think it is a worthwhile thing to contribute to. I would appreciate your input.
=-)

The purpose of RC5 is the preservation of electronic privacy by proving that 64-bit encryption is inadequate.

Vampiel....
the website you can check is the following http://www.setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu
Everything you need to know is there. They have versions for almost any OS you can think (well maybe not all OS, but you could probably find one that you could use there =-)...)

Cwizard...
is there a limit? I mean, as long as someone keeps coming up with a larger encryption someone else will crack it and then a larger one is needed. I don't forsee an end to it....

However worthy SETI may sound, deep_sky, I feel I should bring your awareness to various recent threads in the dist.comp. forum that suggest you may be wasting your time with it.
