Mine is near done, got the orange box seems it was cheaper then buying portal,TF2 and EP2, I have a few games on steam as you can see ;)

I might go for Portal first, just b/c I'll be waking up at 3AM Eastern Time to play as soon as it is released (Midnight Pacific), and a few mins of Portal sounds good before I go to sleep.

I played it for about a half hour after it was released at midnight, would have went longer but I was pretty tired... Ran perfectly on my system [X2 4400+][4GB][x1900xtx][Vista Ultimate x64] at 1280x1024 with maxed settings, 4xAA 8xAF

The updated engine definatly makes use of multi-core processors. I was using anywhere between 70-100% utilization. The updated graphics are a noticable improvement as well.

Keep at it and you'll get it eventually.

I went to Level 18 but stopped, because I had the bug where you couldn't hear the female narrator. I started over and finished the game today, and now I'm doing the bonus levels.

Soooo what do you all think of EP2? I played it for about 4 hours so far but would like to know what you all think? see any majoy changes in graphics etc? mine runs awesome no choppying etc which id be surprised on my rig LOL I have it all maxed out on a 22inch wide screen lcd Im very impressed I must say.

And believe it or not I have not touched Portal yet LOL.

EP2 runs absolutely awesome on my computer, 1920x1200 4xaa 16xaf, all settings maxed, and it never drops below 40fps, so it's completely playable no matter what!

I love the projected shadows. It adds so much to the game atmosphere.

I was playing Portal for a couple hours last night... Badass game, and dare I say, even educational in some ways? It takes a good amount of problem solving skills, especially in the later levels, in addition to coordination and precise timing. Can't help but having the sence of being a labratory mouse in a maze.

Ye ill give portal a shot some time today if I can, I also have if anyone is interested who dosent have yet, I have HL2 and HL2 EP 1 as I gift my buddies have em allready so if any would like them let me know, ill give them to regular members only not a one poster sorry guys :(

Well Im beat the game last night, and to be honest the game is fantastic but I have o say I was extermly disapointed in the leagnth of of it took my to beat it 5.7 hours on hard really and you might not feel the same but that is a **** shame.
